* A user agent is an application that renders web pages, i.e. a web browser.
* A user agent comes with built in style sheets, e.g. how they display hyperlinks, lists with bullet points, headers, fonts, etc.
* Different browsers have different style sheets therefore these anomolies must be considered when designing your author style sheets.
* If a conflict occurs, the author's style sheet will over ride the user agent's style sheet.
* However if the end user creates their own style sheet then this will over ride the author's style sheet.
* This is extremely beneficial for users with disabilities as they can adjust the style to suit their needs, however this is only used by a small number of end users as many people don't realise that the option exists.
