Week 3, Reading 3:

5 Tips For Better Readability
By Brian Cray

This article talks about how you can increase the readability of your blog:

* Typography - Make sure you have an easy to read font face, adequate space between lines, and lines that are about 95 characters in length.
* Start into content quickly - Start into your blog entry immediately with your headline. Your readers shouldn’t spend any wasted time searching for the content for which they came.
* Limit distractions - Anything that doesn’t guide the reader’s eye down your body copy is a possible distraction.
* High contrast - High contrast between the copy and background plays a critical role in the readability of your blog.
* Scannable - Use headlines, lists, and short paragraphs to break your copy into easily digested chunks.
